So I’ve done combatives in the Army and am not terrible meaning that I’m not just ate up right away though I have a very basic understanding. When it comes to martial arts though, I haven’t the foggiest. I’m kind of guessing that I would be in the blue in this video.

I sent this to a friend he replied with some insight that I didn’t see. That the blue guy acted by putting his weight on his front leg which set up the red guy to react with perfect timing. My friend observing the video said they were both waiting for the other to act so that they could then react properly.
